Transcription runs locally on Apple Silicon. Audio is not uploaded, not held on a server, and not used to train anything. Your history and recordings sit in your own Application Support folder, and you can delete them whenever you like.
One exception, stated plainly. AI Transforms rewrite something you already dictated. That text leaves your Mac: it goes to Fohun's server and on to Anthropic, and comes back rewritten. It runs only when you pick an AI transform by hand, only on a paid plan, and we do not keep the text. Everything else — transcription, your history, your recordings — never leaves the machine.
